Log using the Star System

Date and (day of week) – Awoke at [time] feeling ______.

Walk – How much time?

[Other form of exercise] – How much time?

WaterUse Star System* - Shoot for at least 64 oz. of water per day.  You will drink more water when you exercise.  This will help you reach your goal.

Food Use Star System* - Try not to eat any refined sugar or processed food.  After I finished the 24-Hour Challenge, I found that I no longer wanted these types of foods.  Even so, I don’t tell myself that I can’t have any.  I have put no restrictions on myself.  The point is to eat healthy, well-balanced meals.  I have learned to listen to my body.  When I look at a food item, I determine if it sounds good to me or not.  Then I make my selections.

[Medicine] – List any medicine and use check marks to keep track.

Sleep – Show [time] you got ready for bed.

* Star System

1 star = Good

2 stars = Better

3 stars = Best

Water – You get your first star when you pour your first container of water.  Maximum stars for the day is three.  You can drink more water than this, though.

Food – You only get a star if you did well – one star per meal.  You will know if you did well.  Be honest.  The only person judging you on this is you.  Maximum stars for the day is three.

Your goal is to receive three stars each day for both food and water.

Log Notes

You can include other notes in your log, such as something of significance that happened that day that may have impacted your results.  The great thing about this simple log is that it doesn’t take much of your time to keep it up-to-date.  You can add as little or as much as you want.
